Practical Support & Training will be made available to you if you become a foster carer.
ON-GOING TRAINING FOR FOSTER CARERS
All foster carers are reviewed every year and receive any training that is needed to ensure they can continue fostering. They get regular visits from their own supervising social worker who offers advice and support. ANSACARE offers an on-going training programme and different activites to help foster carers to offer a high standard care and safety to the children they are caring for. ANSACARE FOSTER CARER BENEFIT FROM:

ANSACARE ALLOWANCES
Ansacare's allowances start from £400 and go up to £650* a month. Payments are likely to vary for each placement depending on the needs of the children.

FOSTER CARER ALLOWANCE
All foster carers get an allowance to cover the cost of caring for a child in their home and also get paid in recognition of their skills, commitment or time. These allowances include provision for food, which includs school meals, household costs e.g. heating, electricity, general wear and tear, clothing and footwear, pocket money and travel costs.
Foster carers are free to spend the allowance on food, household and travel expenses as they feel benefit the child most. The carers receive additional payments for other essential items for birthdays and Christmas.
