Fostering Allowances or Fostering Fee
Are you considering to become a foster carer but are thinking how you are going to afford it and what will be paid to you for fostering a child? It is true it can be an expensive job but there is enough of financial support available to foster carers to help you to cover the costs of fostering children. Additionally, a reward element in form of a weekly fostering allowance is paid to foster carers which of course depends on children's needs.
Statement of purpose
We would welcome the opportunity to help you learn more about fostering a child and joining Ansacare. Please find below our 'statment of purpose'. Please click on the link below to download a copy. Also we continue to develop and maintain close, personal relationships with our carers and the local communities we support. We do our very best to make sure that every fostering experience creates wonderful opportunities for the looked after children and the fostering families.
On-Going Training & Support
We ensures that all foster carers have access to regular and appropriate levels of training in order to carry out the service to the best standard. We are committed to the UK national standards for foster care and recognises the importance of training within fostering. Therefore we offer a comprehensive training programme to all foster carers. Our foster carers are expected to undertake a minimum of three training courses a year. We support our Foster Carers.
Children's Outcome & Future
Ansacare's focus is always the child and the young person in our care. We aim to provide children and young people with a positive, safe and high level of support in a family environment. We seek to allow children and young people to develop and grow within the following key outcomes: “Every Child Matters”: Their health, safety, enjoyment and achievements, making positive contribution and the achievement of economic wellbeing.
